Pittman, Dutton, Hellums, Bradley & Mann, P.C. is currently investigating a data breach involving McKenzie Health System, also known as McKenzie Memorial Hospital, following the organization’s disclosure of a cybersecurity incident that may have compromised sensitive personal information of patients and staff.

What Happened In This Data Breach?

On or around April 15, 2025, McKenzie Health System identified suspicious activity within its network. A formal investigation later confirmed that an unauthorized party gained access to systems between April 14 and April 15, 2025, potentially compromising files containing personally identifiable information (PII).

Following a detailed review, McKenzie determined that certain data may have been accessed and began notifying affected individuals. The investigation concluded on June 19, 2025, and data breach notification letters were mailed beginning July 24, 2025.
