Pittman, Dutton, Hellums, Bradley & Mann, P.C. is investigating a data breach involving Connex Credit Union, a Connecticut-based financial institution, that may have compromised sensitive personal information of its members. The full number of individuals affected has not yet been disclosed.
According to a filing with the California Attorney General’s Office, Connex Credit Union detected unusual activity in its network on June 3, 2025. An investigation determined that an unauthorized third party accessed or downloaded files between June 2 and June 3, 2025.
Following this discovery, Connex launched a full review to determine the scope of the incident, what information was involved, and which individuals were impacted. The investigation revealed that sensitive personal information may have been compromised, prompting Connex to begin mailing notification letters to affected individuals on August 6, 2025.

Connex Credit Union reported the breach to state authorities and is offering complimentary credit monitoring services to affected individuals. Impacted members will also receive a list of the specific types of information that were compromised.
