He represented the plaintiff in the case, and the jury returned a favorable verdict for his client.
Areas of Expertise
Austin’s practice is devoted primarily to litigation—including personal injury, auto accidents, truck accidents, product liability, mass torts (such as medical device and pharmaceutical drug cases), and class actions.
Austin began working as a law clerk for Pittman, Dutton, & Hellums after completing his first year of law school and continued in that role until his graduation. He was made an associate attorney with the firm shortly after being admitted to practice law in the state of Alabama. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
When he’s not working, Austin is usually out enjoying Alabama nature somewhere with his dog, Cash. Austin currently serves as a member of the Junior Board of Directors for Red Mountain Park in Birmingham and is always looking for new opportunities to get involved with the community.
