Attorney W. Lee Pittman

Lee Pittman is one of the founding partners of the firm and has worked tirelessly on behalf of thousands of plaintiffs against some of the largest companies in the world.  Lee was admitted to the Bar in 1976.  He and his partners started the practice because they believed each person deserves a strong voice in the court system.  Being accessible to every client and responding promptly to their needs during difficult times is top priority.  His commitment, courtroom experience, and compassion ensure that his clients will have the best possible results after a trial.

Lee's areas of practice for the plaintiff include any personal injuryor death , auto accidents, product liability, medical malpractice, aviation, fraud, consumer protection, environmental law, FELA, health and health care law, nursing home abuse and neglect, toxic torts, workers' compensation, class actions, and mass torts.  One hundred percent of his time is devoted to litigation and appeals for the plaintiff.

Lee is a native of Gadsden, Alabama and completed his law degree at the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, AL.  He is the past President of the Alabama Association for Justice and is a member of the American Bar Association, Alabama Bar, and Birmingham Bar.  Lee is also a member of the American Association of Justice, served on the Board of Governors for American Association of Justice, and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.  He has the distinction of being named one of the Best Lawyers in America since 1989.

Lee completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Alabama in 1968.  After graduation from college, Lee joined the U.S. Air Force and served as a pilot from 1968 to 1973 which included a tour of duty in South Vietnam.  Lee is married to Becky Clay Pittman.  They are members of St. Mary's Episcopal Church and are the proud parents of four children.
